.. 2003-02-02 (12:30 p.m.)

I feel for these people to. What happened is terrible. I understand why it there was a whole bunch of coverage.

I just don't agree with it.

a homeless man and a space shuttle 2003-02-01 (11:03 p.m.)

I was replying to this, and started to rant. So I decided to post it here instead... I haven't decided if I make sense or not. I'm not re-reading myself, because I'm likely not to post at all if I do. :paste:

This isn't to say that I'm sorry to hear about what happened, but.. umm.. 7 people. They knew when they left that they had about 1 chance out of 10 that something like that would happen. They still went. I'm not saying it's their own fault and stupid them for going up at some couple-thousand-odd kms an hour shooting off into space. But it's only 7 people. And people are making a moutain out of it. How many people die daily without anyone knowing of their passing?

I don't mean to sound cold-hearted or anything. It does trouble me to an extent. But what about that homeless man down the street who died frozen in the snow? Who talks about him? No one wants to hear about it, because he was a Nobody. Useless. Meaningless. He was doomed. Looked down upon. Why? Because no one took the time to sit with him one afternoon and listen to what he had to say.

People are willing to over-look "comon" deaths by the dozen, especially if it admits to being stained in a way. A homeless man means that there's obviously something wrong with society. Talking about a homeless man's death means admitting to something not going right. Who's gonna admit to that?

And those 7? They were example citizens. Good People. Smart. Usefull.

So we have to bury them in a mountain of sorrow and pain and prayers.

I'm gonna go pray and hurt for all those homeless people.

o/~ Ni temps passés, ni les amours, reveinnent o/~ 2003-02-01 (10:07 a.m.)

Supper with Danya was fanatastic. Except that part when she tilted my head backwards and engulfed my nose in ther mouth. That was kinda disgusting. But oh well Her bad. I've got cold things going on in my nose :D

Spending almost clear of my dy doing things I -wanted- to do and spending time with Phil was awesome. He's working on his school work a lot more this semester, and I don't get to see him half as often as before. I miss him.

But he got me a Care Bear :D

And I bought myself a really pretty shirt from Excalibor, that Danya promptly borrowed for one of her shows next week. And since I'm not likely to wear it or see her between now and then, I let her take it.

I got two "Yay"s form Joy and Gella in my guestbook :D Thank you!

Today? Leaving around 11:30ish, going to Montmagny to baby-sit Thierry, and maybe Loic, Sebas-the-bio-teacher's sons. Most likely only Thierry though, who is the cutest baby ever. And a dream to baby-sit. Mm.

I'm happy.

I'm hungry.

I need to shower.

Mmm 2003-01-31 (11:34 p.m.)

Aw..

Phil Got me a Gumpy Bear (Carebears) and a Taraf de Haidouks cd. Dood. He rocks.

And then we watched Evil Dead II, and Army of Darkness.

Very cool.

Calling Joy, maybe, and then bedtime

Danya 2003-01-31 (11:39 a.m.)

All week, Danya left me voice mails telling me that she had a really cool birthday present for me and that we should see each other soon.

We decided to spent this morning together, because she had the afternoon shift.

She called yesterday and told me that she switched to morning shift, cause she might have a rehearsal for the shows next week this afternoon.

So Danya bails on me again.

I had to go out that way this morning anyway, so I stopped by at the Pain Gruel (where she works) and bought bread and talked with her a little. Brought her lunch during her lunch break (at 10ish) and bought the things I needed. We're gonna have supper together tonight.

I also had breakfast with Marie and Antoine and had a nice time with them.

One of Danya's co-worked said, "Just from the way you two are insanly happy to see each other, I take it you must live far far away?" "What? no. I saw her two weeks ago.. I live in Ste-Foy" It was funny :)

It's funny how , despite the things Danya puts me through, I still love her madly.

Oh, and I finally bought myself a Keeper, and I found a place that sells Blue Sky Soda, from NM. Joy Moment :) ..

and umm.. my French teacher is selling her siamese kittens for 100$, each. And She really needs the money, and even if I never thought of paying that much for a cat.. a little cute siamese could be nice.

I'm also gonna go see about the animal shelter, too...

Thoughts?

Merci! 2003-01-26 (11:45 a.m.)

Just wanna thank HoneyBear, who I didn't get to spend enough time with when I was visiting Swatties last October, so encouraged me to go with the swing. I'm gonna have to see if I can still sign up for it...

Danke schön!

Swing 2003-01-23 (1:35 p.m.)

Swing lessons.

25$ for 10 week. One lesson/week. Cheap.

Tuesday or Thursday, 6 to 5. on Thursday I have class, on Tuesday I have Phys. Ed. from 2 to 4.

Should I still do swing?

I don't have the right build for swing.. all the girls who do swing are small and easy to throw around, and I'm taller than most guys (this is from past experiences... not that there are many, but still...).

Thoughts? Opinions? Please?

birthday stuffs 2003-01-20 (9:42 p.m.)

This is the first time I make a Birthday Wish-List.

And I must say that I'm not very early, seeing as a week from now, I'm legal everywhere in Canada.

So yeah.

I want:

-Any (L)
-Of(L)
-These
-Five
-Things
- a Ryo-Ohki doll or back pack
- a hat like piro's

That was fairly satisfying... writing a list of things I know I'll never have :D At least now I have something concrete to dream about!

...and no, I don't make a habit of dreaming of concrete....
